Checking the Status of a Payment

The Ohio Child Support Customer Service Portal allows you to manage your case online!

Once registered, you can view and print up to two years of payment information, send messages, and ask questions directly to the CSEA, update information, and more.

Reasons for Payment Delays

  • When all required information is included with a payment, the payment is received by Child Support Payment Central and posted within two business days.
  • Delays may occur when all of the required information is not included with the payment.
  • If receiving a check, payment can take up to one week due to service by the U.S. Postal System.
  • If you receive support via direct deposit, please check how frequently your financial institution posts to your account.
  • Delays may occur due to bank holidays.
  • Check the Child Support Customer Service Portal for the status of your payment.
