Disability Insurance

Protect your paycheck. The Franklin County Cooperative offers disability insurance for eligible employees, covering both short-term and long-term needs. Employees can access support through MetLife, with various resources available for managing claims.

Family Forming: Adoption, Maternity, Fertility & Infertility

Your family, your way. Support and resources for individuals managing family planning and related challenges, including coverage for maternity and fertility services, as well as reimbursement for donor materials, adoption, and surrogacy expenses. This program is available to benefits-enrolled employees and their benefits-enrolled spouses/domestic partners.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Smart spending, sharper savings. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) let eligible employees use pre-tax dollars for medical, dental, vision, prescription, and dependent care expenses. Participation is voluntary, and you don’t need to be enrolled in the health plan to qualify. The plan year runs from January 1 to December 31. Franklin County Cooperative employees can access discounts on MetLife Pet Insurance, offering flexible coverage options and potential savings. The program provides coverage at licensed veterinarians, 24/7 support, and the possibility of continuing coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Pharmacy Coverage

Easy access to affordable medication. Employees enrolled in the medical plan automatically receive prescription drug coverage through OptumRx. Use your prescription card at participating pharmacies or save time and money with mail-order options. Explore forms, guidelines, and resources to manage your prescriptions with ease.

Vision Coverage

Clear vision, bright future. Included in the bundled health plan, the vision benefit through VSP covers annual eye exams and provides allowances for contacts or eyeglass lenses every 12 months and frames every 24 months. Weight Management Services
