Outreach

While the main goal of the Recorder’s Office is to serve residents through recording legal documents, the office also has the opportunity to help the people of Franklin County in other unique ways. Below you will find links to various resources that may be helpful to residents who utilize the Franklin County Recorder’s Office.

Good Deeds

The Good Deeds program is an initiative to help property owners set up the deed to their home in a way that allows property ownership to pass to the intended person after the original owner passes away. This educational program was created in collaboration with the Franklin County Clerk of Courts and Probate Court, which also provide information on how to set up documents related to their offices in a way that can save your loved ones time and money after your death.

Resource Pages

The Veteran Resource page is a compilation of services that may be helpful for veterans in need. This list is nowhere near exhaustive, but is intended to help educate veterans and their families to the resources available to them. Similarly, the Housing Resource page is intended to help residents who may be struggling to pay for rent, utilities, or other emergency circumstances.

Press Releases

The Franklin County Recorder’s Outreach efforts also include engaging with media and the press about important updates to the office – these press releases and relevant news articles can be found on the Press Releases page.
