You can learn more about assistance programs and requirements along with additional resources by visiting Ohio Benefits. From there, you can create an account on the Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal where you can apply online, track your application or case and sign up for automatic text message and voicemail notifications.

Customer Access Center

If you have inquiries concerning your Child Care, Medicaid, Food Assistance, or general status information, our Customer Access Center (CAC) can assist you. Utilizing the CAC to access to this information can limit your need for face-to-face interaction while addressing your inquiries in a timely manner.

The Customer Access Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except county holidays).

  • If you need help with your Ohio EBT/OhioDirection Card, call 1-866-386-3071
  • To report fraudulent transactions on your OhioDirection EBT card, call 614-233-2860. This line is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Except for county holidays)
  • To report a suspected case of fraud over the phone, call 614-233-2095
  • To request a hearing or file an appeal, contact the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Consumer Access Line at 1-866-635-3748.
