Draft Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) Comment Period Open June 9, 2026 to June 24, 2026.

The Franklin County Economic Development and Planning Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) details how the County utilized the one-year planned use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds. In Program Year 2025, the County’s allocations were: CDBG - $20,789.00; HOME - $ 803,456.50; and ESG - $ 179,429.00.

The DRAFT CAPER is available for review and comment for a 15-day public comment period from June 9, 2026 to June 24, 2026. Public comments can be submitted in writing to Franklin County Economic Development and Planning Dept., 150 South Front Street, FSL Suite 10, Columbus, OH 43215, or via email at CommunityDevelopment@FranklinCountyOhio.gov or via phone at 614-525-5629.

The County will conduct a public hearing on June 17, 2026 to solicit oral and written public comments regarding the County’s Program Year 2025 Draft CAPER and to conduct a Needs Assessment, in accordance with the County’s Citizen Participation Plan. The primary purposes of this public hearing shall be to (1) obtain views of citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties on identifying housing and community development needs; (2) to notify the public of the upcoming CDBG planning process; (3) to present the proposed 2025 CAPER for public comment and review; and (4) to obtain the views of residents of the community and to respond to proposals and questions.
